Inclusive access

Accessibility

Our goal is to make femcert.org usable by as many people as possible.

Our commitment

European Equality Certification FemCert aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The website has been designed with semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, sufficient colour contrast, responsive layouts, form labels and reduced-motion support.

Measures included

  • A skip link to reach the main content.
  • Logical heading structure and descriptive link text.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and form controls.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and logos.
  • Layouts that adapt to desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
  • Respect for the browser’s reduced-motion setting.
  • Form validation that does not rely on colour alone.

Known limitations

The optional Google Translate widget is controlled by a third party and may not offer the same accessibility quality as the original English page. Automated translations may also contain linguistic inaccuracies. The original English content is the authoritative version.

Feedback and alternatives

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another format, contact info@femcert.org. Please include the page, the problem encountered, your browser or assistive technology if relevant, and your preferred contact method.

Assessment and updates

Accessibility is reviewed through automated checks and manual keyboard and responsive-layout testing. This statement will be updated when material changes are made. Last updated: 8 August 2026.
